Holly Razavi

Razavi is a self-taught artist residing in the small costal village Flushing in Cornwall. Her exquisite oil paintings on wooden panels illustrate luscious landscape and charming architecture capturing precious moments of human connection.

Razavi embarked on her ‘London Parks’ collection with a clear vision; having long-admired the park paintings of Raoul Dufy and Helen Bradley, she knew that her work and distinct style would lend itself well to themes of a similar nature. She took her sketchbook and camera to London in early Spring 2022 and set to work. The resulting landscapes are magical; simplified spaces and a reduced colour palette instil a sense of calm in the viewer, while pulling their focus to the joyful interactions of the inhabitants of the peaceful scenes. The collection is an enchanting take on the many green spaces in London and each piece is a delight to behold.
